Oh man, I know how that is. Especially if you put off making your move to try to psych yourself up, you just wait longer and longer and freak yourself out about it and all of a sudden just talking to the person in the first place is this huge, intimidating thing.

Don't give up! Geeky women (almost always) will love it! I'm a geeky woman, and many of my friends are also, so I know. It definitely does require a certain amount of rejection-stamina, though.

I hear you! I seem to have the same problem attracting geeks. I am supremely nerdy, but I also really like fashionable clothes and makeup and other girly things, and thus my outward appearance tends to attract frat bros, hipsters, and other boring boys who like to play mind-fuckery games.
