I have an old friend who got lost in his early 20s and robbed a bank (dunbass). He went to prison, paid his debt. The look on his face when I asked about solitary, it needs to be banned. It is shockingly cruel.

I think it's statistically much more likely that non-athletes in that income bracket are committing serious "white-collar" crimes, so it probably evens out.

That situation is exactly why I would never willingly choose to carry a developmentally disabled fetus to term. I know that every parent loves their kid(s), but if I ever had a disabled child, I would live in constant dread that my child would end up in a place like that after I passed away.

Agreed. Although there is someone who argues with me how I needed to get over the fact that ewoks look like teddy bears and recognize they were really bad-ass mujahideen who helped the rebels overthrown the empire. I still don't buy it.

Agreed on this. Even with suspension of disbelief (rich playboy dresses up in fetishwear to fight crime) too much of it is hokey, and falls back on the cliche of ten-seconds-left-on-the-timer nonsense.
