The breaking of the Arch, and thus the freeing of Foul, happened at the very end of the last book, didn't it? When the stars went out? I suspect the dust jacket might give away about as much as this review.

What a difference marriage and middle age make.

So much excellent. So much failure to climax. If Tad Williams ever figures out how to finish a story, I won't know about it, because I gave up on him after this one.
