Ugh I know. The whole pet pig trend makes me angry. Pigs can be nice pets, but they need space and vet care. A full grown pig, even the smaller varieties can grow to be 200 pounds and are not a lap dog. And certainly cannot live in NYC.

Just to be clear, I was a good server. I averaged over 20% of my sales most days at a casual fine dining restaurant. But sometimes, it’s just a bad day. Things can be going to hell in the kitchen, somebody might not have showed up that day making everyone taking extra tables or it the manager that day might be a jerk.…

It just makes you look like a dick. Trust me, most servers know when they’ve given bad service, and sometimes, if it’s a bad day, they just don’t care. When I was a server, I could predict the tip 9 out of 10 time.

This is interesting. I was also a waitress for a long while (4-5 years). I tip 15% - 20% normally unless a server was especially good, then sometimes I tip over 20%. It’s a shit job but it’s not a really hard job. So I think that barring, it obviously being someones first day, decent service should be a given.
