If you ever have a several hour layover at Dulles during the day, you can always catch the bus to : http://airandspace.si.edu/visit/udvar-ha… where they have the Concorde, Space Shuttle & Enola Gay on display.

Sadly the people movers will always be around for those coming in from overseas and who need to go through Customs/Immigration.

I prefer DCA also, but recently it’s way crowded, but since most of my flights now are flying to the West coast or overseas, Dulles it is..

Been through FRA many many times, never had any issues.

Been using LAX more know since I’m flying VX now instead of UAL.
