Not really, those stories are stand-alone arcs that fit into the wider narrative.

This is one of the things I'm tired about all these prequel types of movies/shows. We know how it all ends, so there's usually no big surprises in it.

Just watched all 4. Really enjoyed them and kinda neat seeing the early animations.
