I still remember the first picture I saw of a woman who had died from a back alley abortion. I must have been really young - maybe 12 or 13 - and I couldn't understand how anyone would let this happen. That image is forever seared into my brain. I was raised to be feminist and pro-choice, but that image cemented it.

Gerrymandering. Creating obstacles for minority voters. Demand for photo IDs, eliminating early voting or same day registry. Long wait times to vote (several hours at times). Same. I could never watch past the first episode of Girls, but if she had a big part on an episode, I may tune into watch it. Maybe fast forward through any parts that didn't have her in them.

His daughter isn't a minor though - she's a 19 year old young woman who lives away from home while attending college. She should be allowed to dress how she wants. Her parents can ask if she would change, but if she says no - that's her choice. At that age she can dress however she likes.
