It would also allow for a backup birth control if one of the individual's choices failed to work for some reason.

I was on Ritalin for a short time and it was definitely more mellow than Adderall if I remember correctly. I don't know what the difference is pharmacologically, but I always thought it was a better choice than Adderall for some reason (at least personally). Good luck!

If you can find another way to deal with your ADHD, I would strongly recommend it. Adderall works (although it made me feel strung out after a few hours), but it is addicting, and extremely hard to get off of.
