because kinect has ready made software for voice recog. devs don't have to do the work of writing the software themselves or adapting third party software. it takes very little dev time and resources to add voice using kinect.

people tend not to add voice functions with most games other than using kinect because using kinect makes it easy. most of the work is already done on the software side, leaving the devs to only plug in the voice commands and script them to game functions.

actually the xbox version of IE is pretty tight. naturally Flash is limited, but that is pretty much the only drawback. add a chat pad at you are searching and commenting with speed.
