Yikes! I have low blood pressure that is genetic and while I get dizzy when I stand up quickly, I thank my lucky fucking stars it's not the opposite.

My sister's best friend is a nurse and has had similar experiences. The one that comes to mind is when a man with diabetes asked her to get him a coke. She worked in a county hospital doing icu rotations and took care of people who'd been blown up in meth labs and stuff. I don't know how she did it.
Not always true. My mom is 65 and taller than me and I still weigh about 20lbs more than her and I'm an average weight. She was model thin even in her 40's after having 2 kids and never dieted in her life.
My face is all itchy and crawly just looking at that.
Ugh I hate when people use 'women have been having babies for millions of years' to argue against modern medical advances. People have also been dying from bacterial infections (Calvin Coolidge's kid died from an infected blister for fuck's sake) for millions of years too and now we have antibiotics.
I love you.
Ha! I read "taking orders is for order-takers" and thought to myself 'tautology is tautological'.
"Rape is commonly known as one of the most serious crimes you can commit and people are raised from a young age to believe that. Just because SOME people ( a small minority) don't treat it seriously, doesn't mean we have this "rape culture"."
HIS LEGS.
Greatest. Gif. Ever.
You will be! It always takes a show a little while to hit that good spot. The actors get a feel for their characters and the writers are more comfortable and familiar with one another. Trust me, you will love it.
I make it my personal mission to keep my elbows on both arm rests at the movies.
I have a psychology degree and spent a lot of time studying neuroscience, learning/cognition and social psych. Even though I'm not in school I keep up with journal articles and the latest research. Our brains are insanely complex; we have a good idea about how certain things work but many things remain totally…
Evopsych is the embarrassing drunk uncle at the social sciences wedding. It is impossible to truly untangle 'innate' and 'hardwired' behaviors and social conditioning because of neuroplasticity and the fact that it's utterly unethical and impossible to raise humans in a social vacuum.
Nope. Wrong. Check out gollywogs: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golliwogg
My keratosis pilaris is cropping up in new places like my back/lower back and forearms. It also happens to be red and it looks terrible. I use Derma Docter KP duty and coconut oil currently but is there anything else I can do to stop my whole back from looking like I have acne?
Ugh me too. I was a grumpy pants all day. We opened at 8am so I had to be there at 7:15. Not as bad as some retail gigs, except that I work in fine jewelry and engagement rings. So it was a fucking ghost town pretty much all day but I was still there 11 hours. My manager actually sent me home early; my shift was…
Oh those fingernail infections are the worst! Old timey remedy: really hot water with lots of salt. Dunk that sucker in for as long as you can stand and then some. It should clear up within a day or so. Fun fact: it's called a felon.
