You have a pretty negative stereotype of people who get tattoos. No real tattoo artist will give a drunk person a tattoo for ethical and physiological reasons. Yea, there are a lot of sketch ass bad tattoos but there are many many examples of breath taking tattoos that are truly art.

If a doctor trains in a speciality after medical school that figure is pretty accurate. Pre-med undergrad is 4 years, medical school is 4 years and then they are interns for 1-3 years. We're already at a decade. Then they are residents for up to five years before they are fully fledged doctors.
