New marketing slogan

This thing is bound to cause some confusion on the street.

The patents are available, sure. But there’s a lot of work between the idea, the engineering, and finally production at volume.

This is a serious throwback to the old circle/strafe days of Doom and later, the first Serious Sam. For anyone who played SS, remember that room in the pyramid with the frogs and the counter? It was a small rectangular room with a display starting at 300 (or something) and went down every time you killed an enemy. It

The rear shot looks a bit...Mustang-ey.

Before the end of the week those poles are going to become lightsabers.

When in Autopilot, you manually initiate lane changes with the turn indicator.

There’s not even much in the way of reverse engineering. That gigantic hood is already covering up a gasoline engine. They have a fuel tank, and the tunnel in which the batteries were setting themselves on fire is perfect for the powertrain.

The most pressing question I didn’t see answered:

Bless their hearts, they’re trying so hard.

7th Guest taught me that all horror games really need a Towers of Hanoi-style puzzle to break up the suspense.

And the touchscreen had some major bubbling on it.

.... the only thing missing is the infrastructure...

I was deep in Far Cry 4 until I hit the save game bug that got me stuck in a “Mission Failed” loop. Each time I start my mission fails immediately, then I respawn back at the same place to fail again. Thanks to the developers choice to limit the game to a single save slot I can’t recover the 33 hours I’d put in the

The GIF in the headline is confusing as hell. I didn't realize that he was driving on snow, so I saw it as the sky. It looked as if he was steering around the track upside-down.

I very much dislike the sliders in this UI concept. One of the nice things about the current Tesla UI is that there are increment buttons that never move, so I can set the temperature by just aiming my finger with a quick glance and hitting the up or down arrow a few times to set the temp. With this design, I have to

In my experience that never happens because if you're parking at home in the evening, you're always leaving in the morning with a full charge. It happens every so often in my ICE car because I never want to stop on the way home to fill up. I have never been late to work because I had a low charge.

All rise.

Too late. Interestingly, that name has already been used for a transmission:

The cup holder placement is the unfortunate side effect of removing the transmission tunnel and committing to an open design. It requires exactly the sort of movement you've predicted to get a drink out of these. What's more, if I put a tall bottle in one of these I'm constantly bonking my upper arm against it while
