I own the angry faced one. It is a really nice to drive and very useful truck that works hard on my place year in and year out, but I keep looking at it and wondering why it looks so angry all the time. Life is pretty good. We hack up a few fallen trees a year, haul the wood over to where I chop and stack it then for

I used to live in a town that made it illegal to drink a beer in your own back yard, even if it was fenced from view. I moved.

I had no idea! Thanks for posting. I didn’t know that he lead the effort to restore the Statue of Liberty. Very cool.

They were a great little car, easily floggable and not so expensive that you couldn’t flog it. I bet you had a good time with that thing!

And the GLH!

I remember that back when Chrysler took control of Lambo they were amazed that none of Lambo’s cars ever saw the inside of a wind tunnel, and that there was no way to see out of the back of a Countach. They insisted that one be put inside their wind tunnel, and it had a much higher coefficient of drag than a Grand

Actually, the Court ruled in favor of the good argument Wisconsin was not making and rightly so. There are exigent circumstances, the VERY temporal nature of the evidence. Serial drunk drivers know that the number one way to prevent effective evidence in court is to put off any blood draw for as long as possible

It should be remembered that whether Carlos Ghosn did or did not commit fraud of embezzlement of the Nissan corporation, he deserves to be in jail because of this unholy abomination. Serves him right, cross cabriolet my fat $&^.

Wish I had thought of that.

No, you could be right. I just can’t get a good enough look from the video to say, and either way, for an oil fire, I would risk it. Like I said, I beat one out with my shirt once.

Love!

I know, but it is possible that it is real. Vintage racers will take muli-million dollar iron out on the track because this is what it was meant to do. I knew a guy who used to race a $1.5M pre-war Alfa Romeo 8C.

It’s a Shelby Daytona Coupe … I’d have risked going down with the ship to save that car.

Ours had a four on the floor manual. It is what learned to drive stick on, and it was OK in the power delivery department, even though it had nothing for an engine. Of course most of its life the accelerator was pegged to the floor, but it would get going just fine. It was the handling that was awful. It was

Yup!

I will not malign the Corolla, but you got more car for your money when you went up the price range with Toyota. I had an ‘82 Tercel, cheapest car sold in America at the time. It was bad from the day we drove it off the show room lot, and Toyota wouldn’t look at a problem until it was out of warranty. Worst car I ever

They tried a lot harder than our Chevette did when I was a kid to get us up the hill on the way to school. Every morning my mom would have to pull over half way up, Rev it up in neutral, drop it into drive, and it would climb the rest of the way.

Love this.

I am always amused that it is guys who have never worked a day in a factory in their lives who defend Unions for the “working man”. So bloody patronizing. Unions can be good or bad. Depends on the Union, but for the VW plant I just can’t see what would justify having my check docked. The pay is good, the benefits are

Exactly, and if you have a good job with a good salary and good working conditions then why in in the name of the lord would you vote to have the UAW dock your pay check to support their management who has just been shown to be embezzling those funds for their own support. Even without the embezzlement, what can they
