Any time an argument about something subjective like “best video game” is closed with “simple as that,” I can’t take the argument seriously.

In an interview a few years ago, Eiji Aonuma said he has been working all these years in an effort to finally top Ocarina of Time, and after 20 long years, I think he’s finally done it. Game of the Year for Breath of the Wild is well deserved.

There’s no problem with sticking with it, the problem is all of the whining from the Melee community about the rest of the world moving on and not supporting a 14 year old game.

Person uses Nintendo IP for profit (Patreon/Youtube), Nintendo protects their IP, fans complain as if Nintendo is the bad guys here. Rinse/Repeat.
