I can respect that you don't like it, but honestly I think it's a pity you can't see past some short sighted perspective concerning the game and enjoy the show for what it is. Honestly, from the sound of it, you really haven't given the show more than a cursory glance. It's much more than the "tropes" everyone keeps

And Powdered Toast Man found his one true love.

It was based on the movie, they had no choice...

I'm a little offended by the retcon of Batman's origins shown in that Batman game's ending. :/

Daaaaamn. Want! All playing Snatcher SD and XZR 2 on a genuine machine...

Anyone else get no for every single one?

Of course that this is without merit. Gamers can be a bunch of whiny entitled kids sometimes. Next time, don't preorder a game and read up on it before buying, like any intelligent consumer does.

I wish she'd also take a look at the racism and homophobia that runs rampant in online gaming (particularly on the 360 — have only seen a tiny portion of it on the PS3). I could not believe how often I'd hear "nigger" or "faggot" thrown around (practically every single time I'd play online). And when I said something

i've already got 5-6 games in the next year or two from indie developers, but this one is also very tempting. it actually reminds me somewhat of Faxanadu, which to my knowledge was the first side-scroller ARPG, although that game has one of the most hideous colour scheme, it was an extremely enjoyable game.

I have no interest in this. I had every bit of interest in the game when it was a first-person shooter that had investigation elements.

I hope they do rename it. Calling it XCOM was the worst thing they could have done to an otherwise interesting-looking game. All it did was force comparisons and make X-COM fans angry.

I thought the Scouts are supposed to be about practical and survival skills. This seems like it exists purely to woo kids into joining the Scouts.

Will watch this in a bit and actually excited about watching it (love the xcom games).

If it ain't Bruce Campbell's voice, then it ain't Ash. There's no reason for him to be there if Campbell isn't voicing him because it isn't just the character that makes Ash so well-loved, it's the actor who's synonymous with him.

"But why would I need to die to prove your love? Why does God DO things like that, ask such awful things of the people in the bible? Why do so many terrible things happen to people? Why?"
