doubtful on that second one, polygon is not that widely known outside of the US, so I suspect it was more of a co-incidence than anything.

Joycons drift. The sticks dont register forward inputs properly after 9 months or so, it wouldnt be the same issue. At least with joycon drift you can mitigate it a bit with holding the stick in position or quick-fixing it, not the same for xbox

Can they fix the control sticks longevity first? Xbox is the only  company ive known where the controller sticks only last 9-10 months before wearing down.
