just to note, there will be a season 2 of this, since this barely got very far in the manga. also, they teased an anime-only character who has, as far as I know, shown up a grand total of zero times.

just from having a glimpse at this, I can see why kids in japan would go crazy for it. firstly the protagonists are kids, keeping it within the demographic. the point is, if this deal is real, then prepare to see these things en masse rather than isolated claims.
