I read that headline as Uber Trout and I was like DON'T YOU DARE TALK SHIT ABOUT COLIN, KITCHENETTE IS MY LIFE EVEN THO HE HATES TOMATOES. And then remembered how to read and calmed down.

Spoilers (or non-spoilers?) for the GoT series below.

Are you implying that you hope these guys get raped? No one deserves to be raped, not even rapists.

Let's not cheer for any rape, k?

What's not to understand? The number of rapes that occur in any given country is in stark contrast to the number of rapists who actually end up in prison.

Those lists of charges are fucking horrifying.

Honestly, I'm surprised the entire case wasn't thrown out and the boys weren't given medals the way rapes are usually treated. I guess no one could dispute this but we all know how they have tried. I'm only sorry for the rape survivors who are reading this wondering why their rapists are still free and still telling

oh my god why would you ruin this for me

What I see in my head every time a Republican does this:

I get fucking whiplash coming from Kotaku to Jezebel sometimes. Over on Kotaku, the comments are mostly along the lines of "women? Starring in film? Ugh. No thank you." While over here, everyone has the appropriate reaction along the lines of "these women are hilarious, I hope this is great."

YES I AM SCREAMING FOUR WOMEN ARE GOING TO BE IN A MOVIE AND THEY ARE NOT DANCING ON TOP OF A BAR

Really trying very hard not to be sad that Nicole Beharie wasn't cast.

fuck yea kate mckinnon

How could you forget this classic.

It all went down hill after women started wearing pants. It goes pants, voting rights, profanity.

This! And one of the things that has come up in these discussions as well is, "well, so what if someone who is black told you that they didn't want to hear your opinion? Like what if they are saying something is racist, but you don't think it's racist?"

And this is the reason that not all opinions are created equal. People who know nothing about a subject are getting pissed off that they can no longer show everybody how little they know about a subject without getting called out that they know nothing about a subject. Why am I supposed to feel sad for them again?

I have well-intentioned straight white dudes in my life. Whenever we discuss gender politics, this is the kind of argument they raise: "But you're telling me my perspective about this doesn't count because I'm a white guy! That's not fair!" And I'm over here like, when I'm telling you what it feels like to be

I tried to be an ally too but I got fucking friendzoned ugh
