It appears to be legally a pistol. While I question the utility of the configuration, there isn't much doubt that its a pistol under the ATF rules.

There is an ATF opinion letter circulating about on the matter. Pistol -> Rifle is acceptable, and one way. Rifle -> Pistol is also acceptable, but only if the weapon was originally built as a pistol. Basically, if it was built as a rifle it must remain a rifle. If the receiver he has was never built as a

Someone please remove that AK patterned weapon from his possession.

I 'financed' my S550. In reality, I broke the purchase up over 12 months to utilize tax benefits for businesses. My business pays for the car, and it legally pays for the maintenance and fuel of the car when its used for business purposes (almost exclusively). I personally had enough cash to buy the car, but if I

Its a bit more complex than that really. Styrene is not Styrofoam. Also, Napalm doesn't burn any better than gasoline, its just sticky as fuck and burns SLOWER.

Well, the relocated fuel tank does solve one of the safety issues these cars purportedly had...

They do this in the US over a web page for several makers, but they charge quite a bit per lookup. Something like 35 bucks.

Honestly, if you change how to access the data, people will build new tools to access the data. No matter how secure you make a system, you must always accept that someone can get past it. As soon as you let the a device out of your physical possession, you can no longer trust it.

The forum I used for my build thread was unfortunately spammed to death, then closed. Just imagine a standard ford e-series club wagon, with a ford flavored cummins 4bta, NP435E from a pickup, and a Novak adapter to plonk on a Dana 18 I stole from a 60s jeep with a Saturn overdrive found under a wrecked scout.

I work in Memphis, and drive this van there a lot. Everything you can imagine has been stolen from me. Less than a dollar in change? POP THE LOCK! Factory stereo? BREAK THE WINDOW! Factory cigarette lighter in socket? SHATTER THE LICENSE PLATE BRACKET!

Heh. It does have a bed! Though that takes sleeper in the wrong direction...

Primarily. The crew I run with like their jeeps and tacos. They always taunt me about the big fat girl, until their engine stumbles and they NOW notice their fuel gauge, or they are in need of a 6100lb anchor with is excessive winch capacity. It's not bad for recovering seriously stuck buddies, or pure brute force

Hmm...

In Memphis, the penalty for abusing the HOV lane is: nothing. I have never, EVER seen ANYONE pulled over for driving alone in the HOV lane. EVER. I also very rarely see cars with more than one person in the lane. Honestly, the lanes we have here (2 of them) are useless because there was no traffic to begin with

Does your 12 year old SUV pack a 6.4L v8? :P

At 184 you would be bouncing and shifting like a moron trying to countersteer in order to 'weave'. They may have clocked him at 184 mph in the straights, but i doubt their claim of weaving at 184mph. If so, this dude might want to consider riding in the Isle of Man TT next year...

If he hadnt overcooked it and found the soft shoulder, he woulda made it!

Ahem. People who merge into my braking and accelerating gaps without signaling.

I owned a 94 740iL. Even babied, that car ate expensive parts, was unreliable, and difficult to keep on the road. This was in 2001. I cant imagine an OLDER 7 series, that has had its ass beaten hard, with questionable work performed, being able to stay on the road for more than a few days at a time...

The car is on the market. Production started yesterday. The car is already in the hands of a few owners. I get my test drive in Chicago on the 27th.
