1997 Ford v6 Explorer. 200 dollars plus repairing a PC. I took the alternator out, had it rebuilt for 75 bucks, started it up, slapped on used tires, and drove it on an epic trip from Memphis to Alaska AND BACK to pickup a camper. It made it all the way back to my house before the transmission and rear end turned

I hit a deer with my 300 SRT. The damage was about the same. 115lbs impacting at ~70mph will tear right though the polyurethane front bumper cover. The aluminum hood was mauled, a headlight housings broken and the windshield blown into itty bitty pieces. The cost was staggering. 4300 bucks in cosmetic + headlight

We could just fund some private exploration. I believe SpaceX has this launch thing down for 4k per lb in orbit. Compared to the space shuttle, which i think was 8500/lb (if it was loaded to maximum 56,000 lbs, which it never was). SpaceX is targeting under 2k/lb, and the founder thinks that 500/lb isnt impossible

At the very least, they coulda cut the fender flares....

In firefly, they also have Honda foreman ATVs....

On at least SRT8 vehicles, there is a warning about how traction control cant break the laws of physics:

On SRT8 LX-derived cars (challenger, Charger, 300c, and Magnum) you can completely disable Stability Control by starting the car, putting it in neutral, push and hold the ESP button for 8 seconds. The car will warn you that ESP is Disabled (and prevents you from seeing the cars odometer) until you shut the engine

For the older (pre '98) vehicles, you can find the RKU and ground the programming pin, the doors lock and unlock, and press any key on the fob. The doors lock and unlock to confirm. Remove ground from the programming pin (or wire on vans and trucks,) and now that remote will activate the car.

That is 'clear flood' mode, it will crank, and it will fire the plugs, but it wont inject any more fuel.

They will soon announce the crossover DuQati Multistrada, which looks exactly like a motocross bike, but is incapable of operating on any surface other thatn concrete and loose gravel.

The best of both!

I have a particularly well equipped shop as was required by my farm. My shop is a steel building, with 3 doors, one of which is for heavy trucks and tractors. It has a full line of snap-on and matco tools, including metric and standard sockets (impact and hand driven), wrenches (as small as 1/4 inch to as large as 2

REALLY? I mean, I can think of some shit that batters my eyes worse than a Maxx, EVERY DAY.

Actually, if you want, you can book passage on a container ship. They are actually very well equipped, have nice facilities, and are an interesting way to get around. Its not cheap, but it is a new experience.

Long term structural integrity is also questionable.

Thats a pretty big tata. I call fake.

Bald tracks are bad news, one blowout and you could lose control at 4.8mph! IMAGINE THE RISK! I can see it on the news now. It could be the Ford Explorer all over again!

3mpg is AWFULLY low for what looks to be a ~35 foot RV chassis with a gas engine. MAYBE in the city and if you are dogging the everlasting SHIT out of it. I own a few fairly chunky vehicles, with a 31 foot RV being one of them. Mine is outfitted for endurance, and clocks in at 34,000 lbs across the scales (with
