@tjanson: In TN, if they catch you daily driving an antique/YOM plate they will take the plate, wont let you get an antique/YOM for 5 years, and charge you retroactively for a regular plate.

@almost_hectic: Heh, not hard to score 20+mpg when your top speed is a hair under 55.

@tonyola: They could get to 60 in 20 seconds when new, and top 70, again when new. In a sane/normal configuration.

@almost_hectic: I have committed high treason and fitted mine with junkyard fuel injection/spark made from GM and Ford parts, with a home made ECU. I score about 23mpg with this setup. Most scout 80s with the Holley 1904 have a blown economizer, and will get 12-14mpg and run rich like they are jetted 5 sizes too

@All Jimal wants for Christmas is a star: The scout 800 has a better dash than the Scout 80. Whats with that chrome and all the extra knobs? All you need are choke, fan, heat, and open vent!

PFFT, without rust, you cant really call it an International Harvester. Rust is the IH secret ingredient. I see some forming on the bumper there, so it gets a pass for now.

@tonyola: 25mph isnt actually that far off of the early scout 80s. Mine goes from 0 to 25 in about 14 seconds, and takes a RETARDED 38 seconds to get to 52mph. It doesn't go any faster.

@Hadaken: Another view of the same bundle. We also pulled/set 10 T1s into this same telco room. We later ended up with 3 telco rooms like this and a full datacenter.

@shift321: Naaah, I got one better than that. Took me 8 weeks because it was me and one guy. My bosses were too cheap to hire on a crew of 4 and have it done in 2 weeks. We have 3 bundles of fiber(4 pair), 5 25 pair telco, and I forget how many cat5. I was actually the network/server admin at this business. 2

@sirbasilfawlty: I got an SRT8 300C and went to the school. You get to hammer just about any SRT, including the SRT10 Viper when i went.

To this. Capable of towing 13,100 lbs, with a massively updated interior.Very few parts interchange between the two model years. Not a single panel went untouched. They built a totally new and different truck.

1997 F-250/350 Superduty to 1999 (there was no 1998).

@GasGuzzler: I agree. I also think the 97 Ford F-Superduty to 99 F-Superduty. There was no 98.

@AMC_CJ: The abortion v6 is dead. The pentastar is going in its place.

@zacarious: Chrysler killed themselves with those gutless ass 2.7L rental cars. The 5.7L and RWD 3.5L transmissions are a totally different transmission (its actually the mercedes w5s580.) The 2.7L has a trash-tastic 4 speed 42rle crap box on it. It needs to go back into the 1000lb lighter jeep liberty from whence

@AMGkiller: These cars do have a serious mechanical Achilles heel. The tie rod ends and 'tension strut' bushings will fail. Mine failed at around 45,000. Its a cheap fix, and fairly easy to DIY, then get an alignment. I work in a field where I come across LX platforms that are rental flavored a LOT, and its

@AMGkiller: The rental with the 2.7 is awful. Chrysler needs to rot in hell for that one.

@pres: On the 300C SRT8, you just hold the traction control button for a little longer, while stopped and in drive. It disables traction control and torque management.
