I think that would be a part of Mclarens MSO division, they'll literally do anything you want as long as its a Mclaren. Apparently they can even turn your P1 into a spyder if you want but they understandably won't be to keen on it.

Hopefully this means there will be a LM version that no one will drive ever like the Mclaren F1 LM.

Thats not particularly true unless you mess with body work or do what Keonig did otherwise Ferrari don't really mind what you do for example many F40's have been boosted to produce around 600hp some 700hp and had exhaust work done but you'll still find them with a Ferrari badge. same story with the F50 and Enzo alot…
