As someone who owns an electric GM car, this is a bad idea. GM has zero idea how to care for customers, let alone an electric car.

I actually visited the same site as his photo, last week. If you go to LV, NV, be sure to take a helicopter visit out to the Grand Canyon. Make sure you pay the $50 extra to get the front seat, like I did.

Looks like fun to drive around, if you are doing a fun weekend drive within 100 miles, but pathetic, if you want to travel at all. 100 Miles of range that will take 6-8 hours to recharge each time you use it. They need to install faster chargers in cars.

I like the Volt because it looks like any other car (ie doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb.) Plus it’s quick and efficient. The Bolt is just ugly and uncool, not to mention the constant threat of fires.

Get yourself a Gen 2 Volt, but get an extended warranty that covers hoses. I don’t usually travel more than 50-60 miles a day, so only fill the gas tank when on long trips. I’d also recommend getting one with leather (and heated seats.) I love my Volt overall, but hate GM.

Mine is 2016 with 118k miles, now. When the car had 50k miles, it has two leaking seals and a leak in one of the two cooling lines that run between the transmission and cooler. The same transmission cooler lines went bad again in 2018-9, only GM didn’t have the lines available for over 6 months. Again, in October, I

As the owner of a Chevy Volt, who has had several serious problems, I can attest to GM being a horrible company. They don’t take care of their customers or vehicles. The only thing they make anymore is garbage.

I’ve been here with GM before. GM is an awful company who doesn’t care about customers. They will never buy out the cars for which they are responsible. GM lost a customer in me and I’m sure they will screw up their relationship with any customers. FU GM!

I’m going with a Groupe B car the 1980's Ford RS200. It wasn’t fully developed by then, but. I also prefer the racing seats, with stick and diff selector.

The radio is hidden behind a door, but has aux controls on the left side of the steering wheel. If you still want your phone to play music, etc, you can mount your phone and send a feed the radio. This isn’t my car, but you can see how it works.

They are surprisingly good in bad weather. The S2000 communicates with the driver in ways other cars simply can’t. The torsen LSD is a nice benefit also.

My own S2000 has over 100K miles and it runs and drives just like the day it was delivered new. These cars aren’t just made good, they are the best that Honda could make, and they are really made to last. Even maintenance on these cars is laughably easy. No need to jack up the car to change the oil. It takes under 5

I’d like to see a Model Y version

I’ve driven across Montana and it’s super easy. The police don’t patrol the highways, they stay in the towns. My rental, a 2017 Chevy Cruze, was able to humm along at 110-128MPH for a whole tank of gas, and somehow still got 34MPG.

Get out of the damn left lane! It’s not there for you to mosey along at whatever speed, it’s for passing-only! I would probably have treated this driver the same., move out of the way, or I’ll drive around you! If your car freaks out about people passing you on the right, you shouldn’t be in the left lane at all.

Own it and you’ll find out for certain. GM makes garbage

Do you own both?

All 7.7Kw!

Nobody at GM really knows how EV drivers think. We want to be able to charge FAST. 7.7Kw isn’t going to do that. If you pay extra for “DC fast charging” it’s still broken down to just 50KW. GM is just pathetic and makes ugly unreliable cars.
