My primary summer car is my AP1 Honda S2000. I know about revs lol.

It made surprisingly little noise. Even in the upper ranges of the rev band. It power delievery was completely lackluster and needed a lot more revs than it wanted to give, to make any power at all. Plus the transmission seemed all about fuel economy.
