The Honda S2000: It’s Honda Reliable, cheap to run, easy upkeep, 9000RPM, excellent handling, etc

Beat me to the punch with the Miata. So, I’ll raise you with a 911, since I’m on a Porsche kick here lately.

I like it. I always fill up in NJ on my way to NYC. It’s so easy and I don’t have to get my hands dirty.

The Mazda Miata or the Honda S2000, both are very easy to work on and repair.

No they were on the low side, so even if you had a jumo drink it wouldn’t interfere with shifting, my car also had a stick.

One of the features I never see on other cars (other than BMW convertibles) is the all-windows switch. With the touch of a single button you could easily put down/up all the windows at the same time.

The best cup holders I had was in my old 1997 Honda Civid EX coupe. It was a great commuter car and it’s cup holders were in just the right place. Up front and low, plus away from any electronics. Germans pay attention on the roads, they just don’t understand how we could drive without paying attention to the roads because of a drink our hand.

C&D didn’t see it that way:

There was no chance it could compete with the 3 series let along the 5 series.

A wet noodle compared to any of my BMWs, even my convertible, which I drove to and from for my drive in the LS. The S-type didn’t seem to be nearly as feeble, from the few drives I’ve done in friend’s S-types.

The LS was always a total POS. When they introduced it they said they were going after BMW 3 series people. It was supposed to have great suspension tuning and a great new chassis, it really had neither. At the time I had a BMW 325 Convertible, the chassis in my convertible was much stiffer and far more responsive. It

Buy a used McLaren and get the factory warranty. It’s unlimited miles and they are happy to help you do whatever you like.

I’ve driven it with both sticky summer tires, and with all season tires. It was just designed to look good, not handle or perform well.

You are right, they are both awful.

My mother-in-law had both a PT Cruiser and then an HHR. Both of them were aweful shitboxes. Neither of them were manufactured, engineered or designed any better then the worse econo-boxes on the road.

Anyone who likes the Prowler, have never driven one, especially in the rain. It didn’t look bad, but was bad in every other way.
