Not sure about the SL2 but in the Elise (very small car) it looked even bigger and fatter than it should have. Not sure why it took so long to come up with a better looking wheel.

The 1990's Lotus Elan steering wheel. POS GM massive airbag of a wheel.

The apex seals are a huge issue, along with keeping them lubricated (conventional oil only) If only the 16X engine made it out of development.

I've owned them both, my Elise had a very rare LSD also. The Honda has a trunk that's almost 4 times the size. Getting into and out of the Elise is a little crazy. The 190HP my Elise had was very nice, but you feel every bit of that extra 50hp in the S2000, even with the extra 700lbs of weight. Plus the Honda is

The biggest issue with the RX-8 is the Wankel engine. I love how they rev and sound, but they do not last like a normal engine nor do they get very good mileage, especially if you are constantly on it. The RX-8 is a good drive, but the S2000 is still a Honda, with it's crazy reliability.

I've owned both an S2000 and an Elise (with a LSD) and the only thing the Elise has on the S2000 is that everyone seems to think it's a $100k car. If you want to want to be seen the Elise is better. For handling they are very very close. The Elise has a very slight edge on small autocross tracks, but the S2000

It's located in the center of the dash, under a door that covers it. There are extra controls for the stereo to the left of the wheel and you'll almost never open the door. I have the Modfry Dash Bracket: http://www.modifry.com/products/mount…

It's not bad for relatively tall people I'm 6'2", but not so good for people who are heavy. I'm 185lbs, but if i put on 5 lbs the car will be sure to let me know. I gave a ride to one of my friends who's heavy a couple weeks ago. He's 6" and around 320lbs. His stomach was touching the dash lol.

I'm 6'2" and I own a 2002 AP1 and have no problems fitting in it. I put a 6'7" friend in mine (with the top up) a week ago and he even fit without difficulty.

The S2000 shifter is 100x better than any Miata's. My fiancé has an NB Miata and the S2000 is worlds better. The NB is still good however.

I live at the beach all summer and most people here find it difficult to pay attention to anything, especially the speed limits (they do 20 in a 45 zone, etc).

I think they are stuck trying to make as many large 4 door SUVs they can make. If it were up to me I'd make a new interpretation of the LM002 as a 2 and 4 door. The right proportions make all the difference to me.

I had a 94 or 95 Defender 90 soft top with a stick. It was one of the worse driving worse maintenance cars ever. The main reason I got it was because you could get a stick and a V8 and I like the dimensions of it. It's kind of like a first generation Bronco, just the right sort of dimensions to make it look good.

Looks the same as the Continental and it's derivatives since 2003.

That I completely agree with! My sport tires are usually thinly disguised slicks with some groves to make them street legal. They can go from amazingly sticky and gripping to feeling like you are driving on ice, with the smallest amount of moisture.

They drive more or less like any other off-road equipped Jeep. Until they break down and then you are screwed.

Actually not a difficult car to drive, surprisingly enough.

"The Crown Vic, though beloved by fools, was already an automotive anachronism two decades ago—bulky, inefficient, cramped, and wallowy—when it became New York’s de facto yellow cab." I'm not sure where this guy lives or what his deal is, but the CV is a great car for an NYC taxi. They are much larger inside than

I can't believe nobody had mentioned it but, the gloriously sexy Jaguar E-type. Especially the series 1 & 1.5 cars. YUM!

Detomaso Pantera was a car that Ford had ZERO idea how to sell.
