@Commisar: Some cars do require it. If you have a turbo engine, most require it to stop or retard premature detonation, which could damage the engine.

I hate that there is no Format Factory for the Mac. That is the best software for converting PC media. I'm always creating some crazy ringtone or something, and it makes things a lot easier.

The most advanced car with a 4 speed manual trans from the 80's. There were tons of cars that came out in the era that were far more advanced. My fav was the digital dash, Aston Martin had that in 1976 and Nissan had it in the 80's before the Vette also.
