Yeah, that part has been a bummer but they are making (slow) progress on that front. Shuffle Party was just added to the WP8-compatible list this week. I re-downloaded it because it's a great little time-waster and certainly not because when I upgraded from WP7 my mom had just beaten my high score and I felt and an

I'd bet that since "Where's My Perry?" and "Where's My Water?" were both free to download for one day only last week, may have influenced their sudden rise to the top of this chart.

If you're referring to the curse (no team that ever lost to Tampa Bay in the regular season ever went on to win the Super Bowl in the same season) that was broken by New Orleans in 2009. If you're simply referring to the fact that Atlanta didn't look like a championship-caliber team yesterday then you are correct.

Owls make great designated drivers.

An owl once flew into my windshield while taking a friend home down a country road in rural Ohio. Being dark we had no clue what had just happened and the fine, white powder left behind on the window actually freaked us out. We stopped, did a u-turn and slowly backtracked with the brights on until we saw it: sitting

Screw the toylines, if Disney buys Hasbro what does that mean for Dungeons & Dragons?!?

That's the feeling I'm getting too.

This is great. While any discussion about alignments in D&D inevitably brings arguments and diverse opinions I was glad to see that NG was heralded as the "hero's alignment." That's my go-to choice.

I think I just read something from the future.

Yeah this thing is a tank. I saw that Otterbox released their Lumia 920 cases today, my reaction was "why?" when this thing is nigh indestructible.

My wife and myself, along with my boss all have the Lumia 920 and we haven't experienced this issue. Either we're blessed by the light of Ballmer, or it might not be as widespread as some Apple fanboys like to think.

I concur. When I was a kid Elmo was in the background, where his annoying butt belonged. Give me Oscar, Count Von Count, Bert and Ernie, Big Bird and Snuffie and we're golden. And whatever the name of the news anchor muppet is. His stuff was always quality.

The reason for the price difference between the Complete Saga boxed set and just buying the two trilogies separately is the bonus discs. The Saga boxed set comes with 3 discs of bonus features and extras that the other sets don't. So you just have to ask yourself if the bonus features are worth the extra $10. If

I agree that what made Sewer Shark was absolutely the atmosphere and setting. I always meant to add that into a Rifts or Gamma World adventure. Maybe I'll get on that now...

This is going to sound weird but one of my favorite Sega CD games was Sewer Shark. I never beat it, but I had so much fun playing it. I think it was the filmed cut scenes, which were a first for me at the time, the actors were sarcastic and over-the-top. They helped me laugh and enjoy the game even when I kept getting

Fans of the old SNES Shadowrun game rejoice! Earlier this year a Kickstarter was successfully funded to bring that old top-down RPG back for modern platforms.

I had the Sega CD version of this too. So horrible. I felt it was my duty to keep pounding away though in some vain, misguided attempt at beating it. My 11-year-old send of honor was impugned and I could not let it stand!

I have been playing Carcasonne like mad this week. That and Contre Jour.

Oh, I hear ya. Yes I believe you are correct. Makes sense from a business perspective, gives people already steeped in the Windows ecosystem (me) and incentive to upgrade across the board.

WP7 will get an update to 7.8 but not full 8. This will allow current WP7 users to get most of the features of WP8 but not all.
