That is Kreiger and his holo-bride from Archer right? I'm not seeing things am I? Things like this reinforce my faith in humanity.

They stated the cause of the error was power being rerouted from upstairs, that was Fran Kranz's character messing with the elevator.
That thing is so freaking comfortable too. Insanely warm as well. Wife got it for me on Christmas two years ago. She may not be able to tell the difference between Trek and Wars but man does she try to care about the stuff I'm in to.
This is wonderful! Always been an Asimov fan but this is a side to the man I never knew. Thanks Alasdair for introducing me to this facet of a great man.
I adore this comic. Having given up (nearly all) monthly comics sometime ago in lieu of collected editions, the wait for Orc Stain vol. 2 has been awful. I may have to make exceptions for this and Rasl as well.
She wasn't for the original 1980's run, but when "What's New" was revived in Duelist during the 1990's the two were already wed and she was part of the team. I'm suddenly reminded that Phil also did the "Myth Adventures" graphic novel. Man I wish they had done more of Aspirin's books in comic form, they translated…
Girl Genius is wonderful! It's not really the type of comic I normally read, but I've been a huge fan of Phil and Kaja since they were doing "What's New with Phil and Dixie" in the pages of Dragon.
So glad someone mentioned LFN. I know it borders on sci-fi and that may have had something to do with its omission, but it certainly had enough high-tech elements to give it a nod. While the ending was such a bummer I was glad we at least got an ending. Man I loved that show.
I wanted to do the Cracker Jack thing so bad, that was how Peter Parker proposed to Mary Jane way back when, but my wife doesn't like 'em. Oh well.
Randy Milholland of Something Positive actually did d20 stats for the Krampus back in 2004.
I've noticed a lot of comments from people who have just learned about the Krampus from Scott Kurtz's PvP comic. I must say I am appalled at the very notion that my fellow nerds are learning about Krampus from a webcomic in 2011. You should have learned about it like I did, from a webcomic in 2004.
If anyone wants to try Dark Tower there is a pretty faithful Flash adaptation found here:
It has to be, that is immediately what I thought when I saw it. I haven't even finished going through the gallery, just came down to the comments to see if anyone else got the reference. Awesome.
Cthulhu is already part of D&D. His stats were presented in the first printing of Dieties and Demigods. This was not done with permission, so subsequent printings removed it.
I still have my old vhs (despite no longer owning a vcr) but I do believe that a dvd release of the series happened a couple years ago. What I'd love to see get the dvd treatment is The Head.
Hah, my friend that was DMing for me ran a Raistlin clone for his first pc. As for why Drizzt is so often cloned, I'd have to say it goes to timing and sheer volume. Pretty sure that Drizzt debuted in '88, at that time there were not a great deal of popular solo characters. Sure the Heroes of the Lance were…
It's a backlash. In the late 80's when he was introduced he was all the rage because he was well-written and new. Drow were so mysterious at the time and Bob's take on Drizzt was exciting. But in the ensuing decades Drizzt has over-saturated the market. The 90's Forgotten Realms scene was dominated by drow. Too…
My first character was a Drizzt clone. However, I blame my DM (and he agrees) since he informed me that Drow were the bee's knees, and that most males fought with a two-sword style. He had only been playing a short while and obviously just read part of the Icewind Dale trilogy.
Hey, another Broski! I think its pretty obvious where we both got our names from eh?
Amen! Although "Sword" does look pretty fun, I'm okay with not having it b/c I truly do enjoy my Win7 a great deal. Can't wait for Mango, less than two weeks away now...
