He is on a show where most of the time he is clothed and women on the show are naked. There are tons of female actresses on the show that don’t have lines and are naked for a whole scene.

I think he’s just being dismissed because he tried to call out his discomfort as some example of a double standard. He’s allowed to feel bummed at being objectified and it’s fine for him to complain about it too. It just kind of annoying that he seems to think he’s the rule instead of the exception.

The key here, as another commenter pointed out, is that there’s a difference between complaining about objectification on one hand, and comparing the way that men are objectified in our culture to the way that women are, as though they’re remotely comparable.

Nope. Plenty of other prisoners face all that and years behind bars. This fucker is the poster child for needing a long sentence. Did you read his statement to the court? He blames Stanford, alcohol and slutty women. Not a single thing in his proclamation was about his personal responsibility.

Sometimes the worst punishment is not prison. Don’t get me wrong, a six months sentence was far too kind, but I think it’s not the only punishment a person can endure, and right now his life is ruined. His family is ruined financially and they’re asking for money to cover their attorneys, he can’t do what he loves…

Finally someone has done the right thing.

We are not going to move forward as a race until we start valuing women’s and children’s lives as much as we value men’s lives.

How can anyone do that to their own child? You spend all those years loving and raising her, and then boom, set her on fire? How?!
