Do you ever regret making such a dumb statement?
Do you ever regret making such a dumb statement?
The whole “Im entitled and should be able to get stuff on my terms” is the reason why Netflix and GoG exist in the first place. Its the reason why Netflix will go global with all its rights and distributions, and its fucking glorious.
People go on and on about “Games a luxury hurr durr” but they miss a vital point: some people have $0 to spend on their hobby. They make enough money for rent and possibly food. Ive been there, hell I couldnt even pay rent and barely afford food. I didnt have a job, was depressed and just didnt care about anything.
Stealing a car means they cant sell it, pirating a game does not do this.
It got from the 12 years of working I did before I got fired and ended up in a spiral that nearly killed myself. Thank you for asking
My reasons arent in the article but Ill simplify it: when I was without a job and so in debt that I couldnt sleep and if I did I made sure it was during the day so I could ignore the doorbell, I had nothing. I gamed, I watched TV and thats it. I had no money to pay rent let alone anything else. All that kept me…
Im gonna die a few times just so I can play as the Ninth
Oh I definitely want to know although Im sure you cant say much...
Over here it covered nigh all sales bar hygiene ones (earrings, toothbrush etc) or consumables (food and drinks). Pretty much everything else has a cooling off period and a 2 year warranty. And you’d be correct, Im not in the US but EU :P
Its pretty damn easy where I live. We have a 7 day cancellation of the sale period, meaning consumers have the right to cancel the sale of any item bought (as long as its in the original state) within 7 days of purchase. A lot of shops even extend this to 30 days. As for when something is wrong with the car, you get a…
Oh I can understand, I never said I couldnt. What I said was KOTOR had a bigger following on PC than console and that MMO’s hardly work on consoles. Since they wanted an MMO, it wouldnt have made it to the consoles, ever. And Im glad it didnt because it wouldve turned out bad.
I get what you mean, it would still be broken to me in some respect
I never said it cant be done, Im saying they wont. Disney already made it quite clear that they want one established canon universe, just like theyre doing with Marvel. All the Marvel spin-offs are still a part of the Marve Cinematic Universe and part of the canon, they will do the same with SW.
30 days was enough to get you going and finish at least 2 maybe 3 storylines. In other words, that $60 bought you 2 games (if you played 1 Republic and 1 Imperial) and after that it was a sub for however long you want. $60 is also the basic of every triple A title.
It didnt initially work as advertised. That means you have the right to return it because its not in working order. It doesnt have to mechanically fail to be broken.
From what Im hearing, its a broken product. Something that does not work as advertised is broken. To go with the car analogy, if they sold it saying its a diesel and it turns out to be a petrol car, youre shit out of luck and its a broken product.
Offering refunds on a broken product shouldnt be hailed as something great and good, it should be considered normal. If you buy a car and something is wrong with it and you go back for a refund, do you thank the man for his generosity?
Ignore the last bit in the other reply, hadnt read this reply yet :P
Really? SW existed before Disney bought it? Mustve been super obscure though right? Sorry but that comment just made no sense >_>
And yes the canon wasnt fitting at all in the games, books or anything really. Some stuff made sense and some didnt, which is exactly why Disney did away with ALL of the EU. It was a giant…
When has it been done before? There have been zero games released since Disney took over bar LEGO and Inifity.
