So its an exclusive by not being exclusive... which is EXACTLY what I said. Whether or not its on Xbox doesnt make it exclusive, if its on another platform then it stops being exclusive.
Sounds awesome, I think itll really go the distance!
BFHL beta, Magicka 2, Grim Fandango.
They were also wrong in almost all the ‘exclusives’ since they werent ya know... exclusive. Just because its not on a rival console doesnt mean its exclusive
And people wonder why I cant stand the guy. Great racer, probably nice too but he seems like a douchecanoe
Depends, what would people think about a male talking character replacing Chell in the Portal series?
And Ive had different experiences, both online and offline.
The Dutch, Flemmish, Germans and Scandanavians yes. The rest? Rofl.
Yeaaaaa... thats actually how sales work. 85% of the people have no clue what they want and in the case of Steam, 100% of the people have no clue whats available for them.
Paying for mods is a nice idea but there are many many flaws with it. Can Valve make it work? I hope not because the only way I see it work is if they gradually worsen it nad people get used to paying for shit again (looking at you pre-order crap!)
Except the fact that Kotaku wrote several articles against pre-orders, DLC and microtransactions. Im not 100% on board with the general stance @ Kotaku but what you’re saying is bullshit
Because Valve actually bought those IP’s and hired the people. They got put on a salary and were managed, these modmakers have no such supervision.
Yes there should be people who should get paid for their mods, there’s also people who shouldnt be paid shit.
Then they shouldnt bitch. Social media is almost a full time job. Either they do it or they dont, you cant half-ass it these days
“QUOTE | “I really wonder who the hell has time to do that.” - Industry consultant and former indie studio head Vlad Micu, talking along with other indies about the difficulty of doing social media while still trying to create games.”
“The funny thing about humans, is we don’t like doing labor that doesn’t help us progress our lives.”
The paid mods are in my opinion wrong. Yes, artists and devs make these mods in their spare time and it’d be great if they could get money out of it but introducing a new wave of microtransactions? Come on people, we’re trying to get rid of them!
They punish themselves, they take advice from an anonymous source on the internet. Its Darwinism at its finest
Facts are black and white, opinions arent. Thats the difference between your thought process and mine
