So many people don’t comprehend that life without parole in supermax is really worse than death.

Solitary confinement is a punishment worse than death, imo. It’s cruel and inhumane, especially, particularly when used in the long-term.
Also, every time I’m in an airport, I have the same inner monologue: “OH I GUESS I DONT HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO STOP AT A PROPER RESTAURANT, LOOKS LIKE I HAVE TO GET MCDONALDS”
I’m related somehow to Dr Samuel Mudd (who helped John Wilkes Booth), and I am also related distantly to the Surratt family (also very involved in the Lincoln assassination). But, my family is from Southern Maryland and everybody is related to everybody down there. The other side of my family is from Northern…
My grandmother's first cousin was an SS intelligence officer, he was killed by the Résistance in Lyon. She never talked about him.. I think she also went to Nazi rallies when she was a kid in the 30s while visiting her family in Bavaria during the summer (she was half French and half German- awkward).
I’m interracial and the black side of my family is pretty light-skinned, meaning that in all likelihood I am related to both slaves and slaves owners. The thing about racism (and all the isms) is that they are not committed by monsters someplace far away but by actual flawed humans who are part of us. It’s far better…
My great great great great grandfather or whatever invested in mustache wax instead of coca cola and that’s why I’m here instead of on my own island in Figi.
I’m not a direct descendant, but I have an uncle several generations back who might be labelled a serial killer today. Not a huge body count—5 or 6—but respectable for the late 1800s.
My great great...not sure how many greats...grandfather came to this country (dressed as a woman, no less) to avoid being hanged for stealing horses!
One of my ancestors was a fish.
Dany should have been training the dragons from day 1 instead of trying to conquer the entire world.
Yes! I would also argue that Sansa is learning to manipulate Littlefinger, so it would seem like a better move to stick with him.
Dany’s dragons are basically cats. Two of them had to get put in a room for bad behavior, and now they're pissed when she visits them. One disappeared for a few weeks only to show up on the porch and then leave again.
Right? Sansa made the smart move, at least from what she knows. Better to stick with the guy she knows, who she know has been protecting her, even if its for creepy reasons, than the random chick who “swore an oath” to her dead mother and one of the dead kings before that. Brienne’s track record for protecting people…
I feel bad for Brienne that the Stark girls don’t want her. But am not blaming Sansa either for refusing to go with a dirty, crazy eyed lady who she’s seen being chummy with Jaime Lannister. Might as well stick with the gross older man who she knows has the hots for her. And I have Uncle Kevan love, the guy seems to…
What is it about people learning how to read that just makes me cry? Love Shireen and I fully second that she should go around Westeros teaching literacy. Would watch!
My husband and I are equally entranced by Jaime Lannister and it’s very confusing to both of us.
