That was my first thought. Each pint is minimum 1lb so ~40lbs apiece.
Interesting thesis.
Generally I always ask “who benefits” but in this case, IMO, I really believe the districts should be redrawn in accordance with the law agnostic as to what political party benefits and which political party is hurt.
Fwiw, on every political spectrum test I’ve ever taken I’ve fallen dead in the middle with the…
Evenwel v. Abbott will be a genuinely interesting case IMO. Determining whether or not non-voting immigrants count as “people” has a bit of a sensational nature to it that harkens back to slaves being “property” but, IMO, it’s a legitimate question as to how to draw up voting districts. Let’s, for a moment, transfer…
Darwin Award...
The question is, though, what sort of a targeting cone does it need? 1km cubed seems like an awfully large area to search.
Yeah I just figured the owners were getting shafted no matter what. I was wondering what sort of financial damage is out there for VW. You have to wonder what the North American market is worth to them.
Question: could the owners of said TDI cars potentially file a class action lawsuit seeking compensation for said diminished fuel economy, the inconvenience of having to have the car serviced more often, and general false advertising?
Active radar would be pointless.
IR would be workable but the question is whether or not the ground based low frequency radar would have sufficient resolution to vector the SAM to the point it could actually be used. Many LF radar have resolution in the 1km range so I don’t know if this is adequate.
I can’t comment…
Low frequency radar is not a panacea to stealth. Resolution goes down exponentially which means it cannot be used for targeting. Also, because the resolution is so low, an uncomfortable tradeoff is introduced between accuracy and size. To become more accurate you need a huge, fixed radar station. The problem with…

I just don’t trust people with mustaches
This is a very hare-y situation
That was nice of the cops to wash the farmers’ tractors.
If I were a cop I’d just be like “Nope. Didn’t sign up for this.”
Surprisingly effective.
