I agree regarding expanding F-22 production but I don't agree that it should EVER serve a CAS role. There are tradeoffs in aircraft design and air superiority and CAS are orthogonal. Use F-22s to gain air superiority, B2s and cruise missiles to knock out air defenses, and then build a modern A-10 for CAS.
