They put all their eggs in two baskets: Ram and Jeep. Now that consumers are getting bored of those two, it has let every other brand in North America wither away to 1 competitive product.
The Jeep that Kirsten was in her car accident with was a rental. Earlier in the episode, Sandy said her car was having issues (what? An L322 with issues? Never!), so he got her a rental.
Let us not forget Season 4 Ryan’s YJ, which was flattened in the earthquake, but fine the next episode. Also the Land Cruiser Ryan got from his mom, which he rolled killing Marissa (and ultimately the show)...
That has to be a typo; I think maybe it was supposed to be “E 350" as I think the biggest in that series was like an A 210 (I’d only ever seen the A series in Canada until recently, so I was kinda surprised when it was mentioned in the article).
What, no Smokey and the bandit Trans Am?
Huh... We were on Evrima for the New Year’s Eve cruise going into 2024. Spent a lil time in that whirlpool as well. Surprising to see a sub-90 score. We thought the ship was immaculately maintained.
You know this. I know this. Roughly half the country is OK with it though.

I said the same thing. In no universe is the CC better looking than the Arteon.
In no way, is the CC a better looking car than the Arteon.
I suppose the idea is that the stealth units can catch people violating traffic laws because they won’t realize it’s a cop they’re cutting off as they blow the red light. Which is dumb; it’s better to have obviously marked cop cars, since there’s research proving that the presence of marked cop cars are a traffic…
Looks like a nice price to me.
In other news, I can finally comment again. Got a new computer and couldn’t log into my old Kinja account. Still can’t. Found a workaround but have lost all my comment history. This is the only OG Gizmodo site that still has comments and its honestly the main reason I come here.
Also, the…
I had a 1.4L Limited with the manual. That thing had all the options except the sunroof and the 2.4L / Auto. I wanted the turbo and I wanted the stick, so that’s what I got. lol — I only ever had one problem with it and that was the clutch pedal going dead when it wasn’t anywhere near the wear point. Rare problem, and…
I went with NP. Friend of mine bought a 2015 Dart new, and it’s been very reliable. Just brakes and the usual maintenance items generally, and it’s at well over 100k now. Not a bad deal for cheap transportation, and they're not that bad to drive either.
Yeah, the obvious answer to the barnacle question is that the airplane piece was not stable in the water so no side stayed submerged consistently enough to get barnacles on it. And then at some point a piece broke off or water entered a new part of the piece, and it then stabilized it’s orientation in the water.
SAME lol
Even after zooming in, it still looks like a bad snip.
Ditto!
I thought someone had done a bad job of circling something in a screenshot with the microsoft snipping tool in that first picture of the interior.
