this is batshit insane. if you’re going to track people via gps or other connected services you absolutely need to anonymize the personal details before you sell that data to a third party.

You contact Lexis Nexis, tell them you want a copy of the report (to which you are legally entitled). Then you have to prove you are you, which is not easy. Once they finally agree you are real, expect a copy in about three weeks. Mine was 88 pages of repetitive crap from dozens of companies I’ve never done business

Yea, just last week I heard a mother at the park yell “Christian Spanish-Inquisition Smith, give that boy back his toy, we are going home!” 🤣

And the hood and fender panel gaps are Tesla-bad at the site of the bodywork.

one of the wilson companies

I’m pretty sure it is scam as for a start I think it is older than a 2017 model . The discolored engine cover comes from water ingress through the hood vents which often leads to injector failure (and if the injector has corroded can be very expensive to repair). I also have a 2017 F Type and mine has the later type

Going to check the wife’s CX-5 tonight. I could have sworn that was where the dashboard dimming dial was located. But now I’m very curious.

Yes how could contracting pupil improve night vision?

Well in the US tinting the windshield is illegal, I think in every state.

We had a ‘99 LHS that was still chugging along

This is a cool car from a time when packing made sense and Chrysler was innovating. But it’s way, way too expensive.

Well, if you’re not a car guy and want something big and comfy that you could get yourself around with for the next 5-7 years pretty trouble free, it’s not a bad deal. I’d try getting that price down to $6500 though. NP, but specifically for the world’s accountants, undertakers and Scranton-based paper salesmen.

Because the editors are on Autopilot. Tesla’s press release doesn’t say that - it says its the fastest Model 3 ever.

Seems like they could have just knocked on the door and asked him about the car. But, that’s no fun when you can have a freeway chase scene.

pretty much!

Anyone worried about that police instruction?

And a dozen cops for a single stolen car ?

This could have been sorted out without the police. This was a possible lethal use of police resources.

Under no circumstances would I trust a car to drive for me, but I especially don’t see the value in a feature that asks you still focus on the road with your hands on the wheel. Just drive it normally if you have to do all that.

So how much will Elon tell the public company he runs to pay the private company he owns for advertising space? If he doesn’t get his compensation package, maybe $55 billion.
