I’ve got family in small-town ND, and I visited one summer. Went on a beer run. I was surprised to learn that they leave the door unlocked and leave the car running. Gotta keep that A/C cranking! Don’t want to come back to a hot car.

Probably have if you’ve worked on a car lot.  If you can’t find the keys, because someone was too lazy to put them back in the lock box, check the visor and check the cupholder. 

I just want to know, who’s the other person, and if the officer does honor the deal, do they both get off (pardon the pun), or just her?  If you both get off, you’ve got to be thankful to that woman, unless it’s your girlfriend.

So my mom’s Concorde had a battery that required removing a wheel to replace it, but it still had easily accessible jumper terminals just by opening the hood. So perhaps a combination of bad design and good design? I think the battery location was driven by the cab forward architecture.
