These don’t have any Daimler DNA.  The merger was more or less brand new when these were rolling out of factories.

Yep, I’ve witnessed this in the PNW myself. Crows are really smart.

I’m not seeing either. I’m not sure what that has to do with how safe it is.

I’ve even seen a guy use a tow strap to help his buddy up a slippery ramp.

Because of the Nissan thing (and common sense) I don’t think anybody, including the factory, should be adding potential plastic projectiles to the airbag. Just etch the logo into the wheel, or put the badge on the dash somewhere. Probably cheaper that way anyway.

I’ve been on smaller planes that deboard from both ends, but they board and deboard from the ground. I always try to book as far back in the plane as possible. First one on, first one off. Griswald strategy.

All of these things, and I have a large bladder. I pee before I board. And I live in a mountain range, the views are great.

On what may be one of the most beautiful stretches of road in California, hikers and bike riders rule.”

Is that the interior of the Lightning? Pretty sad for the price point.

Seems like often when there is a disaster, cell service becomes lost or overwhelmed in that area.

I tune in when the signs are flashing.

I had cousins that did it with no issue when we were growing up. They would fly out and spend large chunks of their summer vacation with us. The parents had to work, they couldn’t take large chunks of time off. Of course back then we could meet them at the gate. And I don’t believe they had layovers. A lot less to go

Yes, this an important part to highlight:

I’m not so sure, I thought the whole point was to get little kids and babies away from the airbags. You would have to develop an extremely sophisticated sensor so the airbag would “know” when not to deploy, and the first time a sensor fails and an infant in a car seat is killed by an airbag, I think it would be over.

If you do doze off you can have some sweet Close Encounters nightmares.

Yeah, I’m not sure how to interpret this: “and the decision was made to return to Stansted Airport without any pressurization issues.”

Probably a small dog. Hard to imagine a domestic cat pursuing a deer. If anything, I think a cat would flee rather than pursue. Or if they’re like my cats, yawn, stretch, and go back to bed.

He said unlimited battery range, which is true if you put gas in it.

Agreed

My first thought was “somebody wanted to preserve the last Plymouth” but yeah, it’s a year too early for that.
