LS1 swap!
LS1 swap!
A couple years ago I worked for a ‘lifestyle’ company as an on-track instructor and driver for a weekend. We had a group of F430s and Gallardos and for the most part they were beat. To. Hell. One of the 430s had a vinyl wrap, I’m sure to cover up accident damage
You rented a 991 from Budget?!?
Solder is to crimp connectors as welding is to bolts and screws. It can be terrible when done wrong, you must want a permanent fix, and it takes practice.
Sounds like you just suck at soldering.
Soldering is far superior to the crimp connectors. Chemical and mechanical bond ftw.
I love this video and have referenced it in the past. I also love the lineman splice
I’m not saying you’re doing it wrong, but a soldered joint done properly will be WAY stronger. A crimped union should be plenty strong though.
Ahhh the Linesman Splice. The most elegant of splices. It is my splice of choice.
That’s one of the ugliest splices I’ve ever seen. Might as well just use some crimping connectors if you wanna half-ass it. Here’s the right way to splice:
Nothing pissed me off more than when I make the perfect solder connection only to realize I forgot to put the heat shrink on first
I’ll grant you that, but an LS would have fit better.
Only in a straight line. Which is not where you buy a Porsche for. At least I wouldn’t. It’ll be slower in turns.
I don’t think you could call that malicious, his intent was to move the car, not damage it. It didn’t look like the rear wheels were turning, so probably just scuffed tires. If the guy wasn’t a dick, he would have left a note on the vette in case anything was damaged.
This is my worst nightmare. When I was four, I begged and harassed my mom to take us to the only McDonalds on our island because Ronald McDonald was advertised to be there on a certain day. What we encountered was this goliath — an 6.5 foot dude who looked terrifyingly evil and menacing in the clown costume. I was so…
PRO TIP:
As a former child who was (and still is) seriously creeped out by clowns, there’s no way in hell small me would have been lured by some creeper in a clown suit—even with candy. But that is still sketchy as hell and awful for kids and parents. :( Hope it’s not some gross marketing ploy like that clown in Wisconsin a…
Sadly yes.
Yeah thanks but I don’t need a Clown Warning to know that they are evil.
