The M1 of today would be more in line with the Ford GT, Aventador, Ferrari F12. Or if they were shooting for lower end—-Ferrari 488, Huracan, Audi R8, Corvette Z06, Mclaren 650.

8 series, would be technically a 7 series coupe. Like the 6 is the 5 series coupe. So, what they could do, is either bring back the Z8 and make it an 911/AMG GT competitor, and the 6 be what it is. Or create a Z6 coupe. That means, a true weight savings. If they can do that. The problem is that the M3/M4 is billed as…
Oooooooorrrr.....
Yes, they do, but only if there’s a crowd nearby.
I had to remove the rear wheels to get the front calipers off! WHO DESIGNED THIS SHIT!?!
Bring back the 8 series and use that as the 911 fighter you drunk ass Bavarians.
It is more than possible...it is a fact. You only remove the hard-line if you have to change the caliper.
You are doing the brakes 100% wrong. It shouldn’t take more than 40min to do the pads and rotors.
Nope. Only safe, reasonable people drive those. Especially used ones.
Yeah, so many Tesla owners have invested so much ego into their Tesla purchase that the last thing they’ll ever do is admit that it isn’t the most amazing automobile/product/thing ever and doesn’t make them *insert several hours’ worth of bragging here* as human beings.
It’s a status symbol, and the shit build quality has little impact or importance to people buying a status symbol of that cost.
I’ve said all along that the falcon doors were a dumb gimmick that wasn’t worth the trouble. They continually prove me right.
So in effect, current levels of American build quality.
It’s best not to even pay attention to stories like this with Tesla because they can do no wrong. People either make excuses like “oh so no other automakers have quality issues” or some other bogus ass excuse. So it's best to just let this run its course.
Imagine if Tesla formed a partnership with Lucas Electronics...
It seems they are in the “don’t buy a Monday or a Friday build” stage of manufacturing evolution.
This has been known for awhile. Back when the S came out it was not on par with other luxury marques in fit and finish/quality.
All Jaguars are good..............ish
In defence of the baby squishing, misbehaving advanced electronic gizmos is really “Aston Martin Lagonda” levels of build quality! Old Jag levels are more “battery dies overnight” and “bits fall off car at 20mph”…
The Model S has had similar problems from what I’ve heard from owners.
