This (before Toyota swapped to eco-hatch corollas).

surprising you should mention that actually; Fast and furious was on yesterday (1 & 2), and at one point, I was certain I saw a purple camry with a spoiler (and then the back view showed it was a 240). I thought I was the only one to think that lmao

@GTRbrian: nah, we'd applaud. and joke how it wasn't properly set up :P

Keep in mind, these would all have to be 3vv equipped, with the 5-speed (None were ever made in coupe/v6/5-speed, but I'm sure that some negotiation could've done it).

@ttyymmnn: I would. Granted, I'm 19, and see this as a great way to show-off, but that's just me :P

@oddseth: if you can find a manual, it does debeige a bit...

@LTDScott: heartclick for CR reference. BEST. BEER-RUN. EVER!

good fellow, I tip my hat to you, and wish you the best of luck with your build!

@DanielXP: So true! I laugh when I read something like this, drunk on 4.5 beers LMAO!!! Balkans ftw!! :D

I can just imagine what the guy in the pace car was thinking. something like this, I'd assume:

@izzor can't see comment images: yep - toyota owner here, i've seen quite a few idiots, not gonna lie - mr2 with a northstar V8 swap at a car show, some idiot with a hybrid camry asked if it was a special TRD edition. serious facepalm moment right there

NP. I mean, it was one of the most beautiful and advanced cars of its time, it's got low mileage, looks mint, and there are AT MOST 350 other ones... probably less...

@With.a.G: when you're lightweight like the Elan was, FWD can be a better option than rwd, due to the engine being over the wheels and giving more traction as a result. Man would I want one of those, plastic body too so it wouldn't rust :)

@They call me Deathrabbits Jablomey: and strip out all the heavy features like, say, the 5 bazillion airbags, various computer nannies, and other unneccesary items to make the vehicles as light as possible. Transmission tech is already almost there, and europe's had celan/efficient diesels for years.
