@Lotte: Mk4 came as V6/5-speed for our market. it's just a very hard-to-find combination, since most v6's were optioned with automatics.

@SagarikaLumos: probably ford covering their asses because the old vics had a tendency to explode when hit from the back... you can guess what I'm getting at here
@patman: +1 & heartclick - that made me lol
@OldSlowJetta: I tow shit with my camry... ok, it's a 16-ft sailboat, not super heavy, but it works. the only reason I could see needing a truck would be very heavy loads, or climate reasons (like living in yellowknife)
I'd buy a prius, if toyota were to put the ONE feature I'd want in a hybrid - The ability to dump the entire motor battery charge in the space of 2 minutes, kind of like electric nitrous - Bonus points if said feature is triggered with either a 80's computer "Turbo" button, or a switch that says "Go Baby Go"
it's a samurai with a Explorer-sized V8 - that's just insane... Do Want!!
@crankyshaft: not asshat... if you work at an engineering firm, you'd be like that kid in 4th grade with the shiny Charizard pokemon card
@Gimmi Mørgäikkönën: Why is that being filmed from inside a 2nd Gen Ford Explorer... and poor bike. the idiot, I have no sympathy...
@FriendlyFloyd: Hey, I can handle poser if it means blowing said judge's doors off at the next red light ;)
@Scorpio GTX1: Agreed 100%
@Scorpio GTX1: $140 per semester (+ books). Quebec - Fuck Oui!
@pj134: *Ford America, and their disdain for RWD platforms...

Ah, $62k... by my math, a college student such as myself, working a $10/hr job, can thus expect to afford one of these sometime in 2019... *sighs wistfully*
@Rusty Van Horn: ugh. It's so ugly... yet I can't look away...
@dal20402: You have a valid point there, but if you're buying an M vehicle of any sort, you're buying a performance vehicle, and that usually entails certain expectations, such as light weight, stiffer suspension, better tires, and more supportive seats.
