Are they still going to release one episode per week or are they releasing them all on the 3rd?

I can honestly say that since I hit 20 I have only ran maybe 4 strikes. I think another issue is people either don't know or arent used to how MMO style loot is done (which is what Destiny does). You can run a dungeon plenty of times in any MMO and never receive anything other than rep/gold/profession items.
I'm not sure how far back they can go, I assume they can go pretty far. The last time I recovered a character was back during Wrath of the Lich king. But yeah, just put in a support ticket and see what happens.
You've actually been able to retrieve deleted characters for a long, long time, you just had to open a support ticket. But what they are doing here is finally making it an automated process.
I think they should start at Season 1 but I honestly think they could skip Season 2. I don't remember anything in S2 that was crucial to understanding S3
Season 1 is ok, Season 2 was meh but Season 3 was great! Season 4 also starts in like two weeks.
Sure, upgrading the gear can be a challenge but we were talking about just getting gear, which isn't hard to do if you stop playing the lottery (loot cave). Also, I believe you get Ascendant Shards from doing the public events
So doing any part of the game is "grinding till your eyes bleed" to you? Because all I did was pvp and bounties. Once I finished the bounties I either stopped playing or did more pvp.
Is it really a grind though? I mean just slapping on the rep item for your class and then doing bounties (and i skipped any Strike ones). I would gladly do that than mindlessly fire into a cave, hoping to win the lottery.
By "guaranteed" I mean leveling up a faction and buying the gear. I had purchased 3 legendaries before the Queens Wrath event started and would have bought a 4th next week.
Yeah, that is my biggest gripe with the patch.
What? It's not hard to get gear. If people would stop relying on random drops and go after what is guaranteed they would already be 27+
I'm lvl 27 and I never once did the loot cave for any amount of time. I simply did bounties, got my rep up and bought the gear, plus a drop from the Queens Wrath event.
And that is what we call lucky. Most people would probably only get one or maybe 2 in the course of an hour + and even then those engrams would probably turn into a blue.
I'm there with ya. My Warlock is 27 and it's like "now what". Cause I will probably never do the raid as I don't have 5 other friends who have the game and Bungie certainly didn't make it easy to find groups for it.
Yeah, I can see it being good for power leveling - but it's just an extremely inefficient way to get gear and that's what boggles my mind is people using it in hopes of getting gear.
Are you leveling up a faction? 3 out of my 4 pieces of light gear came from a rep vendor before I did any Queens Wrath stuff. Even then it would have been a full 4 out of 4 next week.
I could see it being used to power level, but I just don't see the purpose in do it to try and get gear. You have to be extremely lucky to get anything valuable from engram farming.
"when my more hardcore friends are telling me you can get full legionaries in 2 weeks without doing the loot cave (they're playing 8+ hours per day, 5-7 days a week)."
Any luck with what? There is no luck in raising a reputation and buying legendaries, or doing the Queens Wrath bounties and then doing the missions for guaranteed legendaries.. The only luck I had was with the exotic weapon, which doesn't give light.
