I learned Dota the hard way. I did the tutorial a long time ago and then never played. One day my friends wanted me to play with them, so I learned trial by fire. Wasn't too bad, I got the hang of it after about 5 games.
As others have mentioned, it seemed like they owned Rifles. Those are not self defense type weapons that you would typically keep ready.
I only noticed one spoiler, and that happens within the first 10min of starting the game.
Except you never saw Jun die in Reach. So it was always assumed he survived.
The Forerunner Saga trilogy is a good read. It follows The Ur-Didact, Librarian and a few others (including the person who turns into the Iso-Didact). It really sheds light onto who the Forerunners were.
Except none of those games are ones that I would play right now, or I played years ago

The ends of the Marvel movies weren't trailers, they were stingers. This was practically a trailer, or what an actor would "bring" with them on a talk show circuit.
THUG/THUG2 were my favorites as well. I would love to see remasters of them
