Sadly people were looking towards the future and all the processed food they would get to eat. It was viewed as progress! My mother still cooks a lot of food out of cans even when fresh is available.

I've wondered where these sets were coming from. I've bought bulk LEGO parts and they were all new, mostly from a few sets that had been dumped together with the minfigs removed. I've been suspicious that they were from people who somehow scammed many of the same sets or robbed a truck or something.

Booze is heavy. Those shelves do not look like they should have tons of bottles on them.

I'll be happy when I consistently get 3G, nevermind LTE.

That is not a huge ship, that is a boat. A boat can be put onto a ship, a ship cannot be put onto a boat. It's a very cool hundred foot boat. That is all.

Come now, all light output is measured in watts or horsepower. Get with it.

It is quite staggering regarding the amount of various coffee liqueurs people drink. In Maine the #1 spirit sold is Allens' Coffee Brandy. People drink it with milk. Overall I guess white Russians are pretty popular, in no small part due to the Dude. However people mostly drink what is on sale, and vodka/rum/gin

A clean vodka isn't distilled a bunch of times, it is distilled using a column still. You could consider that one distillation or an infinite number of distillations, as the spirit evaporates and condenses over and over in the column until it separates out into separate chemicals. For mixing vodka you don't have to

I was amazed too that they made something that should be very fun and exciting into a kiddie ride.

Remember, liquor is not food and does not need to disclose it's ingredients. Avoid all flavored vodkas, they are evil, that is all.

My exact thoughts. I've been into primitive mines, they don't haul the rock up by hand. They have buckets and pulleys.

You can put a boat on a ship, you cannot put a ship on a boat.

I agree I go overboard on number of coats, but I want a nice thick base. Thick urethane can handle the damage, whereas the base getting nicked is usually what shows up. Also, once the room is cleaned out, it's pretty easy to get a bunch of coats down. Usually 2 per day.

I put it in my tasting room for work. It was cheap, and I'm realistic about how long it will last. It is glued to concrete, which is why I needed some sort of engineered wood in the first place. Behind the counter the dirt has been pounded into the surface from a chair. It is fairly soft, but mostly because it's

We're looking at houses too. I'm pretty finicky on floors, since I refinished all of our original wood floors in a very old house. To me nearly any laminate flooring is going to need to be torn out. I actually have used expensive engineered flooring for a bathroom and that was due to the water issue (it has held

Sometimes if it's a known brand I'll go with it anyway.

The surprising thing was he did this at home. It isn't that uncommon for someone to do this at work, since they may get permanent disability. You know, "accidentally" get your hand crushed in a press or some gears/lathe. The key is to not to do it TOO badly.

I've been known to add some hot sauce to vodka, just for sipping. However, this is not difficult to do. Take vodka add pepper.

I'm thinking this is a good indicator that you do not want to work for this company. Although the "I NEED A JOB" issue is a good one.

So this article should conclude with "Getting buried under anything will likely kill you." People die in excavations who aren't even fully covered, they move their chest to breath.
