there’s a reasonthe dead kennedys wrote, “nazi punks fuck off”. bigots can see themselves as counter cultural too

Or watching people cook.  Or go shopping.  Or sit in a house.  Reality TV is a thing.  There’s a lot “worse” than gaming.

Yeah she was one of the first HS streamers I watched for a bit.  Ultimately I found others more to my taste but thats neither here nor there, good to see she’s making it work.

I haven’t really delved that much into autochess yet but there appears to be quite a high amount of potential for skill expression. You’ve got the whole min max of drafting internal to what you’re offered and what’s good, you have min max of positioning relative to your opponent, you have all the probability

“ still a single layer RNG” convince me “layers of RNG” matters in determining skillfullness

“you and I both know that luck is the antithesis of skill”

“but HS is a bad example to prove it.”

specifically hearthstone arena, which while more “rng” on the surface allows for more skill expression over iteration than standard ranked, due to the drafting/deckbuilding element.

The rub is that even if you don’t believe, e.g. “x race is naturally disposed to crime/stupidity/violence/etc,” the willingness to “joke” that they are and use it as a means of being “edgy” shows that you are racist. Being offensive for the sake of being offensive is never generic. The character of one’s “edginess”

‘We have not all become felons at some point.’

are you trying to be sarcastic. because if you think law per se proves its own worth youre a moral clown.

but ‘poor taste’ is a more meaningful moral qualifier than ‘criminal act.

lets hold them a second longer and note that legality has no necessary relation to morality, propriety, &etc. and that revealing someones back in front of a urinal, or demonstrating people do, in fact, enter restrooms, is of zero import.

yes. making the appellation thoroughly worthless.

yes ‘feigned’ was poor word choice. lets use a better adjective, like ‘brainless’ ‘overwrought’ or ‘ridiculous’

well if you use words like consent and literally this obviously must be serious business.

pretty stupid thing to say, but hey go for it

“He filmed someone else’s child in a public bathroom. I’m not trying to suggest he committed a massively serious offense, but this is way beyond the equivalent of jaywalking”

> commiting a crime

What is the controversy? I dont understand. How is this image offensive?  Why is it commentary on trans women?  Its a sexualized commercial image of someone with a non binary expression of their gender in a cyberpunk future.  What are we supposed to expect?
