This was (and still is) my first and only USB 3.0 drive, got it cheap for $29 in one of those deals, and performance is stellar. The interface is just half of the equation, memory got to live up to those transfer speeds, and PNY does live up even better that some high-profile brands :).

I just discovered a weeks ago that the XBMC/Kodi implementation is compatible with some brands that implement Pulse-Eight technology and allows to control the Raspberry Pi throught your TV remote (my guess is the HDMI carries some standard-ish signal).
Do you have any tutorial? A friend of mine did a rudimentary interface via CLI, but more info is always welcome
