Aside from the leather, headliner, and carpet, the interior is the same. It's laid out nicely and logically but yeah the materials are cheap. The steering wheel and shifter are amazing though, much better than the Aero.

It is amazing, I have a 2007 aero sportcombi as well and both cars are so much fun. The Turbo X blows everything I've driven out of the water, the XWD system is the best awd I've ever used and when it pushes you out of corners or lets you kick the back end out you can tell it wants to have fun.

I actually like the BLS, aside from a few of the terrible interior color combinations it was an attractive take on the 9-3. And that's not just a 9-3, that's a Turbo X (I'm sure you know that but I have one and I feel like obnoxiously pointing that out).

full off-road modes with locking diffs, traction control modes, adjustable suspension, surround cameras, torque vectoring....mmm yes, that would be good. Throw in a 400 hp V8 and you have a range rover and raptor fighter! but yeah, a guy can dream....\

This makes me think they'll pull a "Corolla S". Lots of extra plastic panels, maybe a 1/2" lift, some wheels, and stickers.

Ok I'll stop, there was just some info in the email from NEVS that cleared up some ambiguity about scheduling and production of the 9-3 and electric models for the Chinese market.

Just a little Saab crazy. The email had some info that wasn't included in the article so I was hoping someone would see it and post to Jalopnik with all the info about release dates, pricing, engines, etc.
