Having been stuck in a traffic jam on a 4 lane highway in 90 degree heat with long pants, riding jacket, and helmet, I can tell you I am all for lane splitting. There is no air conditioning while sitting in the blazing sun. I don’t ride anymore, but I’m all for it. I am also all for helmets.

I live in Kentucky just outside of Cincinnati. We use salt. A lot. Wash your car. The Speed6 did start getting some rust around the rear fender though. That person obviously never washed their car. Ever. Or they did so with salt water.
